couple things I got done this winter
« on: February 20, 2009, 06:13:37 PM »
I haven't spent much time in my blacksmith shop this winter, but I did get these pieces finished up. When it gets as cold as it has been this winter it takes forever to get things warmed up enough to work. The fork and spoon are both forged from one piece. I gave them to a friend from Seward, AK. She is a fishing boat captain, thats why I made a fish stamp and put some fish on there for her. Regards, TC

That is a very nice set! I really like the look of the hammer finish (guessing) on the wall bracket and the inside of the ladle.  I bet your friend was happy to receive such a fine present.
What size of stock did you start out with?

Man that gal is lucky- i can see the salmon Steaks now sizzling away and just ready to be turned over with the fork, right after the Moose Roast is flipped over  and then the marinating sauce is dipped with the ladle and poored over the top- hurry up I am Hungry-The great Pinyone
