SMR double base front sight

Hi y'all.not long ago,somewhere on here was a topic re smr double base front sights.I cant find it,heck,I cant find my glasses half the time.I would appreciate any help here.I have a walnut flint smr in the works,have the bases worked in,and need some inspiration as to the blade configuration.Thanks,Dave F ;D

On an antique, the front sight blade would be thinner and lower.

Thanks guys for the pic and info.Mine is shaping up like the pic,and as it is going to be shot more at range,for my tired ol eyes I am going with a taller,thick front blade.Probly gonna pour a similar nose cap/have a goodun.Dave :D
