Powder Measure
« on: February 12, 2015, 05:20:15 PM »
I was watching this powder measure on Ebay described as "WONDERFUL STAG HORN CARVED 5" BLACK POWDER MEASURE - GREAT CONDITION AND PATINA"
It sold for $103 plus shipping.  I see no evidence it has any age on it whatsoever and the description didn't make any claim about age.  Scratching my head on this.

Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.

Who was the seller.  I bought one of a carved Indian head that looks like was made by same maker.  I didin't pay anywhere near that price for mine.
I don't think it is an old measure.

There is one on ebay right now that sold for $42.00. The buyer relisted the measure and it is now at $127,50.
 Wild things happen on ebay.

Seen basically the same measure for $20-30 that didn't sell.  ?????

Some folks are putting TC Hawken stocks out there for $300+ starting bid.   I wouldn't pay $300 for a complete used TC Hawken.  Guess some idiot has so they keep 'em on the market figuring to catch an idiot.
Nothing is hard if you have the right equipment and know how to use it.  OR have friends who have both.

If you really want to wonder at stupidity, go the reloading section.
People constantly are buying stuff at double, or more, the price they can get it for from anywhere else. Even the brand new things... Throw on free shipping and it is a true stupid magnet!
