Shot pouch or flask
« on: February 21, 2015, 10:55:04 PM »
Does anyone here make shot pouches or flasks with measuring head on it? I have been looking around for one for a long time and havent found one . ebay sometimes has them but they are usually not worth a darn with the leather cracked and missing in spots. I had hoped to have one to go with my double shotgun for turkey hunting in a couple of months.

                                        Thanks in advance,

Track of the Wolf sells both the English and Irish shot heads for shot pouches and flasks.  They work well - I prefer the Irish head.

October Country makes both a hard leather shot flask and also a soft leather Shot Snake.  They are available in both English and Irish style.
They also have a shotgun bag with a shot charger built into the carry strap.
Can't figure out why the shot snake costs almost as much as the shotgun bag, though.

I've got a bag that has a hollow flap with an Irish flask spout on it.

Thanks to all who have replied, I guess it will have to be October country, or I buy the head and make one myself.
