Marvin Kemper an accomplished second generation Pennsylvania / Kentucky rifle artist has recently completed a gorgeous flintlock rifle in the Berks County Peter Berry style with embellishments to honor his home town of Ferdinand Indiana for it's 175Th anniversary, Built with the finest quality components this brass/sterling silver mounted rifle is a beauty to behold! I like Marvin Kemper's work. Every one of his rifles that I have seen were flawless, just like this one. I
especially like the finish on his guns. Looks like he grew hair on his face since I last saw him !

   Be nice to see this one on the CLA blog site .

That rifle sold for $15,000.   It would seem that Marv's work is finally getting what it is worth.   If you haven't seen Marv's work in person, it has been top drawer and way under priced for quite some time.

I have been fortunate to view Marvins Ferdinand Berks County flintlock rifle during and after completion, It is a fine work of functional art in every respect!!
