Ok,
Before launching into mounting it on the lathe--remember, slow is better. I turn mine at about 250. I know some that go as high as 700 or so. Too high in my opinion. Also remember that the taps are not made of the best steel and if you turn at a high speed, the whiplash of the lathe rocketing to that speed will snap the tap faster than you can shake a stick. Also, I wear a face shield as the uneven rotation of the horn will vibrate the whole lathe.
