Appomattox, VA original builders?

    I have a friend who would like to have a Longrifle built.  He was born and raised in Appomattox, VA.  I am now looking for the name or names of original 18th century builders who worked in or around Appomattox.  I can do the research for visual images.  Thanks for any information.

Hacker Martin! Just kidding, not an 18th century maker, but I'd also like to know about any makers in that area as I grew up in Charlotte Co. which is next door.
