Thanks. My shooting buddies are impressed with it but to hear this from you folks that know these old guns inside and out truly is the highest compliment!
Had a buddy over last night and it sure shoots nice. First shooting for me with no rear sight but I kinda like it. After knocking the front sight down by about two thirds it will group inside of 2.5" at 25 yards. Plenty good for the way I hunt deer here along the river in corn country. AND we re-introduced turkey through the Dept. of Cons. back into the area about 15 years ago. Let 4 of them go about 1/2 mile from my house and they have really taken off. We don't have much wooded area like most of you. Thanks again and maybe will see some of you in a few weeks at Gunmaker's Hall at Friendship.
