Why ?    The barrel supports the stock, and if the tenons are properly slotted, there is no issue.
I think you'd be setting up for more trouble than not.
The only spot I would think would be beneficial would be at the breach.

I bed the breech area at least, and the rest depends on the barrel to wood fit. I very seldom bed the entire length, unless the customer insists.

On guns with significant recoil, I bed the back edge of the barrel with epoxy. Just there. I once saw a rifle that was split at the back of the tang due to a little setback due to recoil.

My first trade gun was made with a Madrone( everyone thought it was cherry) stock, and wasn't finished inside the barrel channel. I had tinkered with it until at short range it shot like a rifle. The week before our local Rendezvous it rained in truly biblical proportions. I took the little trader out, and literally couldn't hit anything. When it dried out again, it shot fine. I glass bedded it with micro-bed, and never had another problem. it was built from an old 30" 20 gauge shotgun barrel that was very light weight, so the slightest amount of stock swelling moved the barrel.

After consulting the other moderators I'm locking this thread.Glass bedding is outside the traditional focus and purpose of this particular board.
