Accoutrements IV
« on: August 18, 2015, 05:24:52 PM »
Jim Johnston has published another Accoutrements book. This one has some of the same pieces of the other additions and many new ones. This book has all color photo's. No matter weather your looking for rifles, pistols, horns, knives or axes it has it. This book also has some prehistoric Native American artifacts also. If you like the old ones this one is even better. I picked one up from Jim at the CLA show but I think the Log Cabin Shop may have them also.

I agree it's a good reference book. How do you like Thomas Tileston iron mounted early rifle? Tim

Tim, I like it a lot. I was able to see it in person three or four years ago.

I was at the Log Cabin Shop today shooting a new Virginia rifle and was told that they don't have any books for sale yet.  Jim Johnston is selling the first run directly.  They said he may attend their trade fair in October...I hope to buy one from him there, since I ran out of money at CLA.  :)
