Fort Davis locks

I'm looking for information on contemporary locks stamped "Fort Davis" I am aware of 2 known locks from this supplier...An early profile, and a latter period. Any info would be appreciated...Thanks..Dan

Was that the name of the small store that Don and Addie Davis had in Friendship back in the 70's an early 80' ?

I don't know , but I'm interested in "who' made the locks, as they are quite good.

Don and Addie's store was called Fort Davis. I remember it and them well.Addie was a quilt
maker of superb talent.Don was a curmudgeon.
Post a picture of both sides of the locks and maybe I can help you. They are not mine because I never
used any name but my own.

This is just conjecture, but the lock looks like something Jack Haugh would build. I know he was working for H & B forge during the early 70s, and they were working on molds for a lock...not sure if they ever got it off the ground, but the lock I have might be one of theirs...Just a thoght
