Concerning Wheel Weights - the stick-on type for alloy wheels, are usually pure lead - US or Canada.
The older style clamp-on weights that crimp onto the outer lip of steel rims, may be WW alloy - or sometimes ZINC - especially in California. They don't want the condors eating car tires that might have lead wheel weights attached.
Do not contaminate your lead pot with zinc WW - you have been warned.
