Lots of choices here. I've been using music wire for a long time and find it pretty nice. Lately I've been softening it a bit by running the torch over it until the slightest bit of red color starts to show. You can do several pieces at at time this wayl.
You can buy bundles of the stuff from places such as McMaster Carr for not too much money.
