Enterprise Gun Works

A client brought this in the office for me to take a look at today.  I wonder if this gun was always short?  The
12" LOP is unusually small and the front sight looks original to the rifle.  36 caliber. Everything about it is small.
The capbox is tiny.  The forearm is short too.

I wonder if someone made it for/or altered it to be a buggy rifle? Neat looking little rifle.

The fact that the barrel is turned at the muzzle raises some interesting question about a possible false muzzle or turned for a ball starter.
