Got a new build started. Still rough and crude as I just finished removing the bark and leaves. ;)

Angus,
I take this is the start to the monster chunk gun?  54" long Rayl barrel x 1 1/2".  I hope to see it first hand in a few weeks.  She's going to be a brute!

Don't get too excited as my progress is slow. I worked up quite the lather the other night over at Bookie's. I must have walked 2 miles back and forth clearing chips from that drill bit. Without doing and ultrasound or MRI, it appears that the drill did'nt wander more than 1/4" over the length or sideways. Sure didn't want to have a wear plate on the belly of a new rifle. ;) Guess I could have ate a gallon of beanies :P and hammered the can out to get enough length and shape to fit this southern gun.
