Acquired a barrel. It is unused ,the barrel is 29.5 inches long. smoothbore about 14 gauge. Not sure if it has been shortened. It has a crown proof mark (?) An a couple of other marks. Also it is octagon to round with wedding band. But what really is interesting is a flared flat at the breech. Looking from breech to muzzel. Any ideas. Sent pics to Major Joel but not sure if he got them. Please serious comments only. Thank you in advance.
