Candle Snuffer

It says in the rules I can shoot "chunk".

What exactly is that?

Short answer: prone with a rest.

Long answer:  prone with a simple rest as one might have used back in the day.  A block of wood or short piece of log is the original chunk.  SAME as "over the log".

image found on web: simple chunk with match gun and shaded sights:

Chunks can also be adjustable-if your event allows such, as does the York. If you find a sawmill making railroad ties, you can buy a _pickup load_ of "chunks" for very little.  I paid 10 bucks.

About half hour. I live on the Torrington/Winsted line and usually shoot at NWCSA in Colebrook.

Thanks

My grandfather grew up on Red Mountain Avenue in Torrington, many years ago. I grew up in Harwinton. Moved to Virginia a few years ago. I don't know of anyone back in that area who shoots muzzleloaders.
