Really nicely done, Hemo.   Everything seems to just flow together into ice clean lines.  I like it, I like it a lot!

Thanks for the tutorial on your ramrod tip. That made for a really nice detail, I think I'll give it a try sometime. Your gun turned out great, I keep looking at the pictures and notice new details every time.

I would love to be able to do that quality of work, but it's not going to happen, so I will be content with what I can do, and enjoy the wonderful work the rest of you are capable of.  Great looking piece.

KC, regarding the horn ramrod tip, I should mention that I also did some of the initial horn shaping with my 18th century vintage 1" belt sander. Belt sanders work nicely on horn. Gotta love that burnt hair smell! Also, if your horn tip is loose on the drill bit when you spin it, you can put in a fat screw a little ways, cut off the head, and use it to hold the horn in your drill or drill press during final shaping.
