Outstanding! Wheather you scrim, engrave or let it go as is she's a beaut! Both horns would compliment anyone's rig. Well done!

Sweet. I'm with you as regards the fiddle peg. Bone or antler, maybe, since we can't say ivory any longer.. I thought of bloodwood or boxwood or holly too.

Thanks.....the silver is tarnishing nicely and I'm still trying to decide if I am going to do any scrimshaw work on it. And yes, Kermit, a new spout plug is in order.

So.....I decided to do a little slap dash engraving on the silver....not too much....just a touch. And the silver is tarnishing nicely. Not sure about the scrimshaw work yet......
Part of my problem with finishing these darn things is that I keep starting others before I finish one at a time. I guess I just have....SQUIRREL !!!!....a short attention span........

I know what you mean about starting another before finishing one. I would say that between you and Mark Preston there are no Contemporary horn workers in the World today better.
Your work is High Art.

Dave,
Your work is unsurpassed in its creativity, execution and stark beauty. When I grow up I hope I can be half as good as you are. Stunning work all around.
