Old blowing horn

I was fortunate enough yesterday to be invited to a before the sale estate sale.  There was a bunch of muzzle loading stuff and I didn't pass up the opportunity to pick up some things ahead of today's main sale.
This horn is 13.25 around the curve and the ring is of some different material and will spin on the horn. No name or other markings as to it's origin.

 That is really neat. A very well done blowing horn. Is the mouth piece separate from the horn and the ring slide up and down it?

The ring will spin but doesn't slide.
