I am no expert in this, but it may be Pennsylvania Deutsch, being close, yet distinct from German. Unfortunatly, I doubt there is a Pennsylvania Deutsch google translator.

Pennsylvania Dutch, I believe, is a form of Plattdeutsch, or Low German.  I found a Low German/Standard German Translator on line.  The Translation into Standard (Hochdeutsch) is Keine Treffer.  I too that to an English Standard German German Dictionary, and it means "little hit or little strike" in English.  Am part German and my German Ancestors came from the Rheinland.  The German spoken there have a vocabulary which contains words quite different from Standard German.  "Little hit" or "little Strike" could apply to a Schimmel.
