Antique Brace
« on: August 26, 2016, 09:38:23 PM »
A friend sent me pictures of a antique brace and asked me to post them here. It's an interesting piece. I don't have any specifics, but maybe he will chime in and provide a few.

I'm guessing it's "shop made." Craftsmen typically made many of their tools. I still do.

Gibster, Thank you for posting this for me.
I picked this up several years ago and don't have any information on it.  I thought you all might enjoy seeing it . It is well worn . Dated 1812 with a capital A in script . Thanks for looking.  JIM
