I recently purchased a percussion rifle off gunbroker.com that I'd like to know more about.
WJ & RH SCOTT, ALBANY is marked on the top barrel flat.
Albany is marked on the percussion lock.
Any information is appreciated.
Thanks.

Frank Sellers book has W.J Scott As gunsmith in Albany from 1848-1874. Lists R.J.1848 - 1891. He died in 1891
