Instructions/rules for posting free ads on ALR

***Buy and sell here at your own risk. ALR does not vouch for the truthfulness of any of the member ads that are posted here on ALR. Always remember that there are always crooks trying to steal money from others! Know who you are dealing with!***

ALR members may post items for sale for non-member friends, but the ALR member MUST handle the sale. Referrals to a non-member are not allowed. Items for sale or for trade must be offered here on ALR, links to sales on other sites are NOT allowed. You may link to photos of the item on your website.

New members may post WTB (want to buy) ads as soon as they are granted membership. WTB ads MUST have either a maximum limit on what you want to pay or a simple range i.e. $25 - $75 for the right item. Our requirement for posting what you expect to pay has a reason; it keeps members with $3K rifles from wasting time contacting someone looking for a $1K hunting rifle and vice versa.

To post an item "For Sale" or "For Trade" you must be a member for 30 days. Your items for sale must list the price, items for trade must list an approximate value of the item. The ad MUST have a  realistic posted price for the item being listed, but you may add OBO (or best offer).
 
You may not use this forum to direct folks to your online eBay, Gunbroker, or similar website but you may list the same items here as a standalone ad from which ALR members may purchase the item. links are allowed to photos of the item/s you have for sale here on ALR i.e. Photobucket, Flicker, personal website, etc.

All replies to ads that are not specifically related to the purchase, sale, or trade, of the item advertised are not allowed and WILL be removed by the Moderators. Let the seller and potential buyers have their discussions about the items. If you wish to make comments about the items for sale please open a new topic in the appropriate area.

After your advertised transaction has been completed, please delete the ad to save valuable ALR server space. To remove, scroll to the bottom of the ad and click on "Remove Topic" button. ALR members are only permitted to remove or modify their own posts.
