Hey everybody. Thanks for all of the advice, and tips.  I am a beginner, but not a total newbie. I am working on my #10 rifle right now. I haven't been brave enough to start with a blank yet, so I have been doing pre-carves. I have completely inlet one octagon to round barrel, and 6 locks by hand.  One of these days I am going to jump into a blank. I might do the English rifle from a blank, and get Dave Rase to inlet the barrel and drill the rod hole for me.

This was my last rifle. I am working on cleaning up my architecture and carving.
