I've been gone from alr for 5yrs...little turns in life...been lurking and so I'm ready to build myself a new rifle...leaning towards a Lancaster style...look forward to shearing my progress and watching other builds ....

Heading to the log cabin next week to buy a precarved stock and barrel..since my divorce a few years ago I have to retool and start building another shop...going with a precarved stock will save me time and money using just basic handtools..chisels and files and some scrapers...tough starting over..had to sell the lathe,mill,and forge..have a little still press...and hand tools...gonna be interesting. ..
