Changing LOP?
« on: February 07, 2017, 06:22:55 PM »
I'd like to lengthen the LOP on an upcoming rifle. How can I do that without making the stock look out of proportion in the wrist area?

I need to do that in the other direction on my current project. It ended up a little too long and now if I move it forward,as the butt stock is shaped,I will be moving the butt plate past the end of the stock. I will have to file some of the butt plate off so it doesn't hang below the edge of the stock.  I assume your stock isn't shaped yet Single Malt. Could you just redraw the pattern on the stock to make it fit and look OK.
