Thanks again to everyone who answered my "headache" post.  How much wood do you guys like to leave below the ramrod hole inlet and also at the web between the ramrod hole and the bottom of the barrel inlet?

I like to stay around 3/16" for web thickness. ;)

1/8" and 1/8" for long rifles. More for Hawken.

1/8" to 3/16" for the web and 1/8" below the inlet.
