William Shreckengost Half-stocked Rifle at RIA in May

Since we have a members interested in Schreckengost rifles, there is one coming up in May's premier Rock Island Auction, item #348. The plain rifle is half-stocked in maple but without a patchbox/capbox or inlay work. It has distinctive Schreckengost architecture and a nice script signature, "W. Shreckengost." Shelby Gallien
