Kibler kit and Rice barrel
« on: April 06, 2017, 04:56:26 AM »
I just finished my second Kibler kit in .40 cal. Shot three shots off hand at 25 yds., cloverleaf, not quite touching. Moved sights and repeated same results about 2" right. Moved to 50Yds and on the bench. Fired three shots and no sign of hitting the target. Two more shots and I finally found where I was hitting. One of the second shots at 25 yds opened up about half a ball width. All shots were going into a single hole! Not even close inspection of the first three 50yd shots revealed any sign of a hole opening up.  The gun is unbelievably accurate. The above was witnessed by two other shooters. Thanks again Jim for producing such an incredible kit and your choice of quality barrel maker. A salute  to you both.

We're so happy to hear about your success.  Thanks.

With the new shop and equipment, we've almost doubled our production capabilities, so we're burning through the orders pretty fast.  In time we'll have kits in stock.

Thanks for all the continued support.

This is the most amazing combination of effort, fixturing, machinery and engineering I've ever seen applied to a kit.  Who is this Kibler guy?

Excellent rifle. I have one in 40 caliber and am anxiously waiting for Jim to start producing his  early Rifle. I will be buying one of those in 54 caliber.

I am looking forward to seeing what Jim's next offering will be. Hope it's an early wide butted gun. Three cheers for Jason and the crew at Rice Barrel

I second the cheers for Jason at Rice Barrels.  I have some pretty tight dimensional requirements for these barrels and he has worked super hard to meet them.  Without his hard work and willingness to push ahead with progress this wouldn't be possible.  It's a pleasure to work with him.

Jason is the best. His integrity and honesty is beyond reproach. I once ordered one his Harry Pope replica barrels and he advised it would be a several monthwait Just before we were to meet, he called to tell me that on the final pass, one of the rifling cutters broke  and while it would not effect the accuracy , he would not sell something he knew was not 100% perfect. He brought it any for me to look at and try as I might, I could see nothing wrong. He made another one in just a few weeks and when I got it, it was like a piece of jewelry. Absolutely gorgeous with it beautiful false muzzle and bullet starter. He has all my business now. I am eagerly awaiting my Kibler kit too, based on what Jim says, it must be soon.

I've found Jason to be extremely helpful and willing to make sure his customers are pleased.  I can't see myself ever going with another barrel maker.
