The U.S. International Muzzle-Loading Team is holding qualification shoots - including this one in Winchester, VA. Check the team site at

Here are the specifics:
Dates: Saturday May 23, 2009 Sunday May 24, 2009
Times: Start times : 9:30 am until 3:00 pm
Target Distances Available for Practice:
25 meters - Firing will be at the right side of the Revolver Range,
50 meters - Firing will be at the right side of the Revolver Range
100 meters - Firing will be at the left side of the Main Range, positions 2- 4
Location - N-SSA Home Range (Fort Shenandoah) Winchester Virginia.
For those of you who have not shot at this range, the firing positions are not covered (no roof), and there are no loading tables So if you have a portable table, I would bring it along with sun tan lotion to prevent sun burns.
For the 100 meter prone shooters, if you have a shooting mat, please bring it. Plywood and carpet will be available to use
