Picked Up My Dickert

Got on the list about 2 years ago, dropped off the barrel in July. I named the rifle "Helen" after my grandmother. The builder sort of prefers to remain anonymous. Some of you know him. I will add more when I can calm down and take better photos of her.
Look for it in the coming shoot videos!
Jacob Dickert Rifle: .54 Cal Rice, 42" Southern Classic Barrel, Chambers deluxe lock. I never expected any silver wire inlay, and when I picked it up there were 3 little places featuring it. I was speechless. The patchbox came out beyond any expectations. The gun is perfect. Perfect.
*The wall hang was for photo op while I was wiping her down. Of course I relaxed the Cock and Frizzen to resting position and do not have it hung on full cock.

Yep, she's a keeper for sure. It will be fun watching for it in your upcoming video.

Let's see, "TM". Must be the talented Theodopalous Mumblebinder.
Nice gun.

Say, any of you boys smithies? Or, if not smithies per se, were you otherwise trained in the metallurgic arts before straitened circumstances forced you into a life of aimless wanderin'?

That's a really nice rifle.
Too bad he wants to remain anonymous, I'd love to have him build one for me.
Beautiful workmanship in all respects!

I'd have no problem with the wait considering the beautiful payoff.

Nice clean lines and just enough busy work to set it all off.
