I have developed an interest in the Goshen area of Orange County New York. An adventurous gal by the name of Sarah Wells and a skilled builer in stone by the name of William Bull. A search for "Wawayanda Maiden" tells a nice story which surely has a thread of long rifles running thru it.
I am wondering if any one has suggestions for reference works that would touch on gun builders in and around the early Patent ground between 1712 and the outbreak of the war?
