A new take on a double shotgun and lock.

Rod Gates had to make these locks from scratch.  Check out the side hammer inline breech. He applied new manufacturing techniques to an old design.   Is this the wave of the future?  Quien sabe?

My brother had Rod make him 2 SxS flintlocks I would rather have.  Very good work.

Rod is a perfectionist. I own one of his sxs flints shotguns in 12 gauge. He is knee deep in trying to CNC  a late period English flintlock right and left to get the quality he wants in his locks. He has a lot of the process and necessary programs done. The locks on this shotgun were primarily done cnc. He has six more lock sets. Don't be surprised if some of the competition shotgun guys end up with Bentley style shotguns. They have a different mind set than most of us on ALR. They are mostly about breaking twenty-five clay birds in a row. Tim
