Recently acquired this pistol. Need help with the ID of the builder "RC"

.... Perhaps the builder's mark could be "RE" ... ?? ... nothing marked on barrel .? ..... nice looking pistol ...

... after a long second look , the engraving on the tail of lock is like on the Hacker Martin pistol I have , so could be an apprentice he had back in the '50's, ... Robert Carr ....... speculating, of course, but maybe a starting point for investigation ....

Had not considered "RE", good point. No marks on the barrel. Will pursue Robert Carr. Maybe someone reading this has a Robert Carr piece & can verify the "RC" Thank you for your insight & informative suggestions.

I think the guy must have been a cowboy. His signature looks like a brand rather than an engraving.
