That is mighty fine! You should wreck a stock more often if that is the result!
It would seem that Jim Parker taught you well. I would guess from your post that it is your first rifle, and it looks way better than my second (or third...). That is a beautiful piece of wood too, and you managed to bring out the curl very well.
I'm guessing from your workshop setup that this is not the first bit of woodworking you have done.... Where did you get those support stands that are attached to the front face of your workbench? I like them very much!
I could critique some of the design elements of your carving, but that is not the point of my response, and I am not an expert.
