New School Pistols

I`m trying out Rich`s new terminology for these "fantasy" pistols. Before I built the rifle for my father that I posted yesterday, I built these for my mother . Come on , you don`t think I would leave Mom out do you? The brass barrel is from Rayl , with a M&G continental lock. The stock was a scrap piece I got from Jack Garner about 20 years ago, I like the way the figure follows the grip. The Cherry stock wood came from a friend , it blew over in his yard in 1975. These are from my own mind, not really copied directly from old ones.DISCLAIMER!! , I no longer wear my tinfoil hat when designing !! it gets in the way of my optivisor
Thanks Nate

I like the pistols. I bet it cost a lot of labor to make as nice as that.

I like the carving and engraving on the steel barreled pistol.

Nice looking pistols! I like them both, but am really drawn to the carving design and layout on the steel barreled one. Great job!

I LOVE the Lehigh style, rifle or pistol. Steel barrel carving is very much Lehigh ! I like it a lot.

I really like both of them. The architecture on both guns is really bold, that's the first thing that comes to mind. Cool contemporary school guns in my book. BJH
