Don't turn you back, that beauty will disappear into the leaf litter.

Are those leaves from a Turkeyfoot Oak?

I have never worked with bone as a handle material . How is the tang secured inside the bone?

I forge a tang to fit the hollow bone marrow and bottom it.  Then I use JB weld and seal the top with pewter.  You have to crush the bone to get it apart...tippit

I was curious how large the cavity in the bone was. If it's not much more than that tang, I'd say that's a strong handle considering the density of bone!

I use JB also...cheap, easy, doesn't expand while curing and STRONG! I removed a handle once (antler) and had to grind it off the tang. It ain't coming out!

Nice knives btw.

Thank y'all for your kind comments.  As to photography, mostly it's just the nice forest floor of our Aiken, SC farm that adds a nice rich color...tippit

Mmmm, nice!  A natural handle that looks to fit the hand well and a perfect blade design. Superb.
