Help Identifying this Long Rifle

Need Help identifying this long rifle.
This rifle has been passed down through my family for several generations.  I only know some general information about it and do not know any specific details about it, its dating and/or manufacture. The only background information I have is that it is from the Northern Ohio area.  It can be tracked back to my great grandfather who was born in a small town in Northern Ohio called Gibsonburg (near Toledo) in and around the 1850’s.  It has a rifled barrel and is .52 caliber. There are no visible markings anywhere on the rifle.  I have attached some photos, let me know if there are any specific photo details that would help.  Any information that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.

Where do you live currently? Reason I ask is that if you are anywhere within a few hours driving distance of Marietta, Ohio, The Association of Ohio Long Rifle Collectors (AOLRC) will be holding their 43rd Annual Exhibit Show at the Lafayette Hotel in downtown Marietta on April 7 and 8, 2018.

According to their website (http://www.aolrc.com), the AOLRC exists “To promote the continuing study of the Ohio made muzzleloading rifle by bringing collectors and interested people closer together" and they boast that their April Exhibit is of the largest display of Ohio made muzzleloading guns to be seen anywhere.  I went to the show for the first time last April and I really enjoyed looking at all the fine rifles and talking to many of the exhibitors. There's a good chance that you could get some good information about your gun from the knowledgable collectors there.  I saw several people walk in with guns that they hoped to learn a little more about.

Sandusky County Gunsmiths.  They are about 30 gunsmiths listed in Sandusky County. I would look at the Thompsons, four  of em, George, Harry, James, & William.  See page 177-186 Ohio Gunsmiths & Allied Tradesmen Vol. IV.

Look on top of barrel between breech & rear sight, there could be the name of the maker or his initials.

Very grateful for the input so far, Thank You.  I'll see if I can track down a copy of the Ohio Gunsmiths Vol. 4, it could be very insightful with its listing of gunsmiths from Sandusky County.  Although I won't be able to make the AOLRC show in April, it's a little far for me from down in Georgia, I have reached out to them for any info they could give.
