Dave,
Cherry Corners' lock parts are very hard to come by these days. I've helped a couple people with some parts I had purchased off of ebay back in the early 2000's, but I haven't seen any more in a long time.
Ithaca Gun Co. purchased Cherry Corners in 1976 and made their Ithaca Hawken with the Cherry Corners lock. I used to have contact info of a guy that had worked at Ithaca who had taken a few parts home, à la Johnny Cash's song, and built a rifle with them. I don't think he has any pieces left, but there may be other workers out there with some.
After Navy Arms purchased the black powder division from Ithaca, Navy continued to build the same Hawken with the same parts until mid-1980's. That's another potential source if you come across a junked Navy Arms/Ithaca Hawken.
Another possible source for parts would be a junked Uberti Santa Fe Hawken. Uberti copied the Cherry Corners lock for their Hawken lock and parts may be interchangeable. You can see the similarity in pictures I posted on my website. Go down nearly to the bottom of this webpage to see the comparison.
