12 bore English Sporting rifle

If everything checks out, I will have a un marked 12 bore English Sporting rifle added to my collection.
Been wanting one for a while. It is nothing fancy, but looks like a good solid rifle.
Now I need to get a round ball mold for it.

What vintage? Flint or percussion? Half stock or full stock? Any photos you can post?
Vicariously excited!

I always regret Not buying an 11 bore when I had the chance. that one was half-stocked and percussion of the 1840's.
Rather plain it was, a soft -skinned dangerous game gun. Barrel about 34" if I remember right. Saw it and looked hard at it! Leeds Arms Fair about 1982.....
Would have made a grand elk and moose and bear rifle.

percussion half stock.
I will post pictures once I get it.
I need to send off a shotgun and some cash for it today.
It is not a "wow" rifle, but looks like just a good honest rifle with no makers name.

I look forward to seeing it Fleener.
Working guns aren't alays "wow" guns, but that makes them more interesting to me.
I'd love a 12-bore rifle!
