Okay, I didn't want to bother any body about this problem, but it turns out I'm really baffled. I'm using a simple trigger pinned to a trigger plate. The pivot pin is .600" high from the trigger plate face. The trigger plate is 3 1/4" long and 7/16" wide with a rear screw 1/4" from the rear of the trigger plate. The tang bolt is .575" from the front of the plate. The pivot pin is 1.225" from the front of the trigger plate. I just wanted you guys to get a picture of the trigger plate. The problem is this: The trigger works fine when placed in the inlet. It works fine when the rear screw is screwed in and tightened. When you install the tang bolt, the trigger binds. As soon as you start the threads in the trigger plate, just a few threads, the trigger binds. If looked at this six ways to Sunday, and for the life of me, can't figure it out. If re-tapped the tang bolt hole in the trigger plate, Checked all the clearances, and nothing, but as soon as I start the tang bolt it binds, even without tightening it, just starting a few threads. I will add this, with the trigger pinned this high, the whole trigger moves to the rear and up, but like I said, it works fine until I start the tang bolt.
