I'm trying to identify the builder of this fine iron mounted Tennessee rifle,... been told she was built in the late 1970's-80's, maybe in Kentucky,... she is full-stock black walnut, .40cal, 44" barrel, all hand forged mounts,.... very slim and finely built,... builder really knew what he was doing, both in pattern and in assembly,.... Initials engraved in script on top barrel flat are "FWP" (builder) and on silver oval on cheek-rest are "JWH" (first owner),... thought some of you other "old timers" here might know of a builder from back then,.... any info appreciated,..... regards,...
