WH and JJH contract rifle with US govt

Great images (thanks to Moravian Historical Society!) of a lock that dates from William Henry II's 1808 contract with the US government. Notice, in addition to the "W Henry Nazh," the eagle and "US" stamp. Third image is a lock made by William Henry II"s son, Joseph Henry, who had a shop in Philadelphia and collaborated with his father on the same 1808 contract.

Interesting--is that higher or lower than one would expect? (I have no idea.)
