Tippit hunting knife and sheath probably too modern to post here. But still made the old fashion way by hand...tippit

Tippit, Excellent geometry and attention to detail. What kind of steel? J. Rice

Jerry,
Steel is 1084, OAL 7 1/2 inches, forged with hammers from a 4 1/2 inch piece of bar stock. Handle is spalted oak from a friend's wood pile. Sheath is hand stitched cross draw for left side.

Tippit, I like your work! Have you ever tried a hawk?

Beautiful, both knife and sheath. From the looks of that handle, you better dig around that woodpile some more...that’s some snazzy wood!

Greg,
I have a bunch of it...but use it sparingly for special projects.
