Every year the CLA gives out awards for table displays at their annual meeting in Kentucky in August.I was honored this year to be asked to make the awards for the Contemporary Table Displays. My submission is a 18th century Sterling Silver and Cow Horn Tobacco Box based on a couple of examples in the Winterthur Collection .The griffin artwork was taken from an 1759 Power Horn known as The John Williams Horn.

Really neat Mitch, I recognized the "Griffin" from the John Williams horn as soon as I saw it. Great workmanship on both mediums.
