Kibler colonial. Any done?

WOW, for being cut out on the same CNC program they look allot different.  Jim, did you remove more wood from the one you built?
It just looks thinner and more slender all over?

Same rifle.  The difference in appearance might be due to  one being carved.  This removes a small amount of material.

I've had my kit for a few weeks. I'm about to start on it but I wanted to practice up on some simple carving. After seeing the finished one without any carving, I may just go that route. They look great even without any carving or engraving. I ordered mine with the extra fancy maple option but it doens't look quite as flamey as the one in the link. The curl will probably show better once the finish is on it.
