colt style flask repair

great garage sale find an old repo colt flask but the seams are opened up thinking to just resolder or rap in rawhide any ideas on how should go about it ? its a 3$ find

Hey, I have one of those too, and have been pondering the same thing.  I wondered about using the JB Weld epoxy on it, but would prefer to do something more conventional.

You can resolder. I've done a couple. I'd recommend a good solder iron rather than a torch though.
