The blade for the spatula is iron which makes welding easier. The spatula was actually a salvaged goof up. It started as a meet fork I was working on at a demo and forging outdoors in bright sunlight I burned the tines. I cut the tines off and made two nails out of them. I welded on the spatula blade to salvage the handle.
The little axe started as an old beat up hammer. I drew out one end, cleaned up the other and re drifted the eye.
