I was trying for a certain look with this one, so to see if I got it right,I'll ask you folks. What "school" does this look like to you ?

I'M not familiar with all the gunsmiths of all the schools, but I'll offer my opinion, which could be totally inaccurate. The butt carving reminds me of Fredrick Sell. The side plate reminds me of someone in the Maryland/ Emmitsburg school, as does the carving details forward of the lock panels (John Armstrong). The butt plate with the curvature also reminds me of Emmittsburg. The patchbox, I'm not sure, as well as the toe plate, these might be Lancaster. Very nice work though. Now I could very well be wrong on all of these, but it certainly won't be the first time... Geo.

I'm going with the Emmittsburg/Hagerstown area.

The antlers look like ones found in the York-Adams County area. Be my guess on the rifle too. Nice job.
